Ju-ley!

Ju-ley!

Ju-ley is the Ladakhi equivalent of “Aloha”. It means hello, goodbye, thank you and many other things. So, Ju-ley from Leh, Ladakh, 11,000 + ft and a very slow internet cafe. This has been a great trip. I have stated it once before, we have a group of very talented photographers and they are “snapping” (as they say here in India), some really exceptional images. Only a few more days left, on the 27th I fly back to the warmth of my family and the beaches of Penang. For some reason this trip has been emotionally harder for me than others. Maybe because I had just settled into Penang and then leave for two weeks.

Enjoy some of the images. These are from all over Ladakh, India.

Loved the first Portrait of the Ladakhi lady dressed in her traditional cloths. Hope you guys have visited Pangong Tso or Tso Moriri, if yes then can’t wait to see some of the photographs from there.

Good stuff MB! I bet I would have enjoyed this trek! Except for the snakes of course. Some great shots! On the rock formation, were you using a polarizing filter there?

    Yogesh,
Sorry, no time to visit Pangong Tso or Tso Moriri. We only had two weeks and a less than that in Ladakh. Maybe next year?
