Thailand Lumen Dei Announced

Thailand Lumen Dei Announced

Not to say I told you so, but…I told you so. The Lumen Dei workshop with Ami Vitale sold out in three days. I knew it would be a sell out, but in three days? Crikey! I never saw that coming. So now what? What do David and I do with all those folks left standing high and dry? Actually we put our heads together and came up with this. We have asked Gavin Gough to team up with us and take a group to Thailand at the end of May 2009.

Here’s the details:

May 25-June 05, 2009
Cost is USD$3600 from Bangkok. This includes pretty much everything except your transportation to Bangkok. We meet you there at the beginning and leave you there at the end.

We will spend 12 days in Bangkok and up in the hill-tribe village areas around Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. As with all LD trips we will not be in 5 star hotels or eating in the fanciest restaurants. We will be mixing it up with the locals, getting our feet muddy and hands dirty (hopely keeping our lenses clean). It will be 12 days in some amazing places with three world photographers that are pretty darn good at what they do (even if I do say so myself…and I do)  and what to share and pass on their skills with you.

As with all our tours the group size will be small, in this case it is limited to 7-8 participants plus the 3 instructors, leaving you with a low student-to-teacher ratio and plenty of time for one-on-one.

As you can see, this one is happening soon – so if you want to join us we need to get things rolling ASAP. Please contact us with initial expressions of interest and any further questions. We’ll then get you an info/application package and begin the process. It’s first-come first-served and when the tour is full, it’s full.

    Hi Matt;
    Just sent David an email on my reservation. I am trying to make arrangement for my scheduled travel committment to see if I can squeeze this one in. Look like a great trip and one I have put on the list to shoot the Thailand minority tribe, especially the long-neck Karen tribes. Will try to make it. Got passed the wife, now have to rearrange thing a bit. Hope it works. Thanks

    Dude, no worries. I’m just glad I didn’t have to make a choice between the two, because I’m not sure I could have lol.
