It’s all about Light and Relaxation

It’s been a quiet week around here. This week is my daughter’s spring break. So my wife and I decided to take Jessie to the beach. We pack up the car and took off with some friends to a small island off the west coast of Malaysia called Perhentian. There, we stayed at a small resort with bungalows right on the beach. It was quite relaxing and, the light was amazing. Yes, the snorkeling was nice, and the company unsurpassed. A great time sitting around with my pipe spinning stories with my friends. But, the light was amazing. It’s hard for a photographer to look at the world without first seeing the light. Harsh light, reflected light, soft wrap-around light, and it’s something that when you find it, it can grab your attention. It can be so amazing you can’t help but grab your camera and take some pictures. That’s the way it was this week at Perhentian Island, no agenda, just fun.

Love the top image – very refreshing. The blues are so cool and the colour in the bikini reflects the water.
