Mitchell Kanashkevich

Mitchell Kanashkevich is probably one of the most talented photographers I know. He has gotten that way by shooting continuously. Mitch doesn’t stop — or at least not for long. It was during one of these quick respites that I was able to catch up with him and find out what he has been up to over the past two years since we last spoke. In a word: Africa. Mitch has spent the last year or more slowly traveling through Africa. In this hour long interview we talk about his adventures, misadventures and his entrepreneurial adventures. Mitch has started a new e-book publishing house called EyeVoyage where he has published his latest titled called Powerful Imagery: The Photographer’s Insight. As a special offer for Digital Trekker readers you can get 20% off your order if you use the code “DTREKKER20” on your check out.

Ved, I made it downloadable now. You should see “download” on the far right side of the track. Hope this helps.

Thanks Matt! Thanks also for sharing these wonderful podcasts. I’ve downloaded almost all of the craftandvision ones and will do this one as well. Thanks for bringing such awesome podcasts interviewing photographers like Mitch who’re truly honest about their thoughts about photography when they share it. Thanks again!

Do these not go into iTunes anymore, or is it just taking Apple forever to update because it’s iOS 7 day?

Dewayne, the “Digital Trekker Podcast” has never been on iTunes. That was “Depth of Field” DoF was a sponsored podcast this is not. I don’t do this podcast that often to feel it warranted making a podcast feed in iTunes.

You really need to get this into your podcast feed. It’s very hard to access this otherwise from my phone.
