G'day from downunder Matt,
Ive just stumbled across yours and David's blogs recently which is great, both excellent blogs... whats more looks like I'm travelling to India in February, so I am looking with interest as to what your capturing and where your going.
I love the three images you have here, and the one birth the boy against the blue doorway is fantastic.

Old Delhi Take Two
We went into old Delhi once more to today to see if the Metro was running and what obstacles we might in counter after the Delhi bombings. That sounds crazy even writing it!
I really felt off my game, so to speak. I just couldn't seem to grasp what I wanted to shoot today. You might say my vision was blurred. But I have still posted a few shots from the day.
Oh, one of the attendees from last nights talk, Yogesh Sarkar, put up a review of our presentation. Check it out HERE. Yogesh seems really sharp! Not just because he liked our talk...well, ok, maybe that has something to do with it. He is very articulate and expresses some great points to follow up our disscusion with the group.
The first full day of Lumen Dei is tomorrow. Check back in.

I like these shots very much. The people are real. You can see them thinking and feeling and reacting.

Beautiful
Absolutely incredible shot Matt!
Gorgeous shot Matt - already very much looking forward to seeing more! Looks like you had a wonderful time, even if you had to change the destination...
Enjoy your family time!
I'm curious to all the other pictures. It's every blog 'enjoying'!
Thanx for sharing this!
Greetz,
Jonneke (sister in law of ErnstJan, you met him in Bali)
I just love the way you capture the people and their cultures. I am curious, do some of them pose for you? Do you ask their permission?
My friend and husband perchased some of your work for my birthday, but you were out of town, I am so excited to decorate with faces from around the world.
Blessings,
Andrea- Sometimes the people do indeed pose for me. Most of the time, I find them in their environment and the pause what they are doing long enough for me to take their picture. I will often ask to take their photo before I shoot it. Glad you are enjoying the images.
