Monday News
Ok here is a quick post for this Monday. I am frantically working on a Jobo GPS review and it’s getting complicated. So till then:
The fine folks and good friends at Travel Photographers Network have published a book with Blurb. It is a compilation of some of the sites best images over the years. With contributors like Jim White, Marsel van Oosten, Kah Kit Yoong, and yours truly. I haven’t see the actual book but the pdf looks nice. Check it at at Blurb.com HERE.
I have started Twittering. Yes, I figure if everyone else is why not. It makes staying in touch a lot easier. Check it out on the left side bar or go to twitter HERE.
My wife is out of town till next Wednesday and then I leave for England for some meetings for a week, more Knowledge Stewardship (knowledge management) stuff. Good to have work these day where ever you can find it.
Really beautiful pictures !
Did you know you could share them on Issuu – You publish? (also in .pdf)
http://www.issuu.com (it gives something like this : http://issuu.com/heimana/docs/heimana-bata)…

Olivier, I need to spend more time on issuu. I don’t quite get it.
Any chance of you coming to London, Matt?? Would love to shout you a coffee or something slightly stronger if you prefer 🙂
Only thing is I am leaving for a wee break to Istanbul on Wednesday which is I think when you arrive….
Anyhoo, if not this time then hopefully next time you come to sunny (yes, you read it right- the sun is absolutely beaming down today!!!)London.
Vanessa, some how I thought you where in Australia. I arrive LHR late on the the 5th at and leave on the 9th at 2135. WIll you be back in town?
Aussies, but we are living in London at the moment….bugger, we are flying at exactly the same times as you- out on Wednesday and not getting back till late on Monday evening (out of Gatwick). Hmmmmm hopefully you will be back later this year…or, even better, I need to get myself on a Lumen Dei tour (there goes the savings for the D3, the flash, the tripod, the Matt Brandon limited edition print ;-))
p.s. I spoke to soon about the sunny skies- it is apparently going to be cold, rainy and windy for the rest of the week. Make sure you bring warm clothes!
Thanks for the heads up on the weather. Start saving some pennys..er..pence or that LD trip. Any ideas where you would like to see the next one held?
Hmmmm since I have only ever travelled in Australia or Europe basically anywhere would be fascinating for me…If we weren’t planning a big trip to the USA later this year, I would have been well keen for the Thailand tour.
