A Seamless Travel Companion
I had reservations about carrying what amounted to 400ml of whisky in my hand luggage. I expected questions, maybe even a showdown at airport security. Surprisingly, it never happened, except for one minor hiccup at Hyderabad Airport.
The security officer was understandably curious when he saw the bottles. He asked what was inside, and I nervously replied, “Liquid to drink.” He then asked, “Alcohol?” I nodded, and he examined the measurements. The only issue was that the measurements were marked in ounces, not milliliters. It’s worth suggesting that Aged & Ore include both ounces and milliliters on the glass for future batches.
Apart from that, I breezed through multiple screenings in various airports, from Austin to Srinagar. In fact, my flight attendant on an Indian Airlines flight was so impressed by my whisky flight that she brought me a glass from first class for a proper photo shoot!
