Model Shoot: Take 2

With Thaipusam over, today we took the students out for a lesson in working with a model. I had the pleasure of working with Shri (above) and Cindy. The challenge on model shoots in workshops is finding both easily accessible locations to work in and locations that fit the model’s persona. The old Peranakan Chinese house works well with Cindy and she played the role of the strong Nyonya woman perfectly. The shoot with our Indian models Jay and Shri was a bit more challenging as our space at their family temple was limited. So, after a quick exploration off to the side of the temple we found this over grown stretch of grass. With the setting sun, it worked perfect.
