The steam shoots out from the underbelly of the old engine with a loud hiss. The sounds of metal smashing against metal and breaks shrieking as the bogies pull tight readying for the journey to begin. The familiar whistle blows. People rush to board the slowly inching behemoth. The conductor leans out and shouts something in Thai that can only mean, “All aboard!”
